Hmmm… I’m not really sure what the best advice I’ve ever received was…
“Don’t eat the yellow snow.”
“Don’t put on makeup while you’re driving”
“Everything happens for a reason?” (How many times have you heard THAT one…)
And then there’s the advice to better myself…
“Be confident…”
“Don’t sell yourself short….”
“If you smile, you’ll automatically feel better.”
Motherly advice…
“Don’t keep her diaper on too long, she’ll get a rash.”
“Keep a bottle of anti-bacterial soap in your purse, you never know what she’s touching.”
“If you put it in front of her, she’ll eat it.”
And of COURSE advice from hubby…
“Use a pumice stone to get the hard water stains off the toilet.”
“Charge more money for your business, you’re really talented and you should get paid for it.”
“Don’t open the door for work men, they could be serial killers in disguise.”
There’s so much advice that I have been given, it’s really hard to choose one that’s the best or most important. I guess what I like to think as the best advice, because I practice it every day, is not to judge people. In high school I was judged pretty dramatically by the way I dressed. Rightfully so, I would wear your stereotypical heavy-metal getup. But it did teach me not to judge other people. Get to know a person before you pass judgement.
Love this...lol!
